Our horses

Shadow - Is a 16 year old, 14.3hh, Percheron x Australian Stock Horse Mare, she has been with us since she was 18 months old.  She is one of our best jousting horses today. Shadow has performed at many shows and competitions and is always a crowd favourite. Shadow has also made appearances on the Colony (SBS), The Battle of Vinegar Hill (ABC) and the Kerri-Anne Kennerly Show

Dancer - Registered name (Aromist Capricorn Dancer) Is a 13 year old, 14.3hh, Part Arabian Mare, she was bred by us and has performed well in many shows and tournaments in her  6 years of jousting.  Dancer also has had time off to give us a beautiful filly for use as a potential jousting horse. Dancer recently appeared on Talk to the Animals.

Charisma - Registered name (Aromist Charisma) Is a 11 year old, 15.1hh, 1st x Australian Stock Horse Gelding, he was bred by us and is a half brother to Dancer. Charisma can always be relied upon to perform well at anything that he does, he is very smart and good looking as well.  Charisma also appeared on the Colony (SBS).

Goldie -  Registered name (Planet Flyer) Is a 14 year old, 15.2hh, Thoroughbred gelding, he has only been jousting with us for 3 years, but is proving to be a favourite with riders and spectators.
Goldie had a racing career before he started jousting and the international competitors snap him up every time there is a tournament on.
Goldie also appeared on the Colony (SBS).

Trent - Registered name (Rutherford) Is a 11 year old, 16.1hh, Thoroughbred gelding, he has only been with us for 2 years, but has now competed in two tournaments and numerous shows. Trent is turning out to be a champion in the making. Trent recently appeared on Talk to the Animals and  is proving to be a very reliable mount that anyone can joust on.

Crusader - Registered name (Encanto) Is a 7 year old, 16 hh, PRE Andalusian gelding, he is currently in training and he competed in the Skill at Arms at the St Georges Day Tournament in Lithgow 2007. He attended Wagga Wagga National Horse Festival as a mounted heralds horse and is starting to show some promise for the joust.
He is becoming a favourite for anyone who rides him.

Taffy-- Registered name (Sheza Daydreamer) Is a 14 year old, 15hh Standardbred Mare, currently in training to joust.  Taffy raced in her younger years and then dabbled in a bit of dressage. Taffy is a nice natured, quiet mare who I am sure will be a favourite when she makes her first appearance.

Martel--Registered name (Nightscape) Is a 10 year old, 15.2hh Thoroughbred Gelding, currently in training to joust. Martel raced in is former years, but was very slow, so had to be used for other activities.  Martel is proving to be calm and easy to train and already a favourite with anyone who rides him. He will be sure to please all of his spectators when he makes an appearance.

Chandos-- Is a 8 year old, 15.3hh gelding, breeding unknown, but believed to be arabian. Chandos was a rescue case and has the most beautiful kind nature. Loves to be with people and is gentle and willing to learn. Chandos is now coming into training, but it will be a while before he sees a crowd of people as he has not been out much and we need to take things slowly with him.
He is a handsome boy who will please everyone.

Beaudiene - Registered name (Beaudiene Crusher) Is a 19 year old, 15.1hh, Standardbred gelding, Beau has been jousting at many shows and tournaments for the past 8 years, he also taught many riders how to joust and is now living a well deserved retirement. Beau also had a very successful racing career. Beau also made appearances on the Colony (SBS) and the Battle of Vinegar Hill (ABC).

Belle-- Registered name (Aromist Pachelbel) Is a 3 year old 14.3hh (still growing), 1st x Australian Stock Horse Mare.  Belle was bred by us and is very quiet and easy going.  Belle is due to be broken in and will start her joust training as a 5 year old, but with a mum like dancer, she will be sure to please all who see her in the future years to come.

Harmony--Registered name (Aromist Harmony) Is a 3 year old 14.2hh (still growing), 1st x Australian Stock Horse Mare. Harmony was bred by us and is a very smart and quick learner.  Harmony may not be big enough to make a joust horse, but she will be sure to impress in other activities like skill at arms and mounted melee. Harmony is due to be broken in, but will not start her military training until she turns 5. Harmony is also a half sister to Dancer, sharing the same mum.
