Big Hits St Georges Day Jousting Tournament t 2011, Phil Oliver (AUS) & Ripper Moore (USA). Phil manages to stay on and Ripper does not, but Ripper is ok.
Tournaments
Full Tilt have jousted at many events and Tournaments throughout the world and still get overwhelmed by the invitations we receive from year to year.
This page is a collection of a few photos from past Tournaments.
Full Tilt hold Tournaments in Australia each year and are well known world wide for hosting one of the best Tournaments "The St Georges Day Jousting Tournament", which will be held in a new location in 2012. We are now proud to announce the event will be at Royal Bathurst Show in 2012.
Full Tilt are also working on a new "Sport Tournament". This Tournament is for the Experienced or Professional Sportsperson who wants to take it a step further and wear head to toe plate armour with gridded sheilds to grab the lance hits and solid timber turned lances. The hits will be very hard and there is a very high chance of an unhorsing, (which points will be awarded for). The Professional Jousters will also compete for a cash prize purse. We hope to have enough competitors to demonstrate this new joust at Royal Bathurst Show in 2012.
This "Sports Joust" is not for the faint hearted.
Full Tilt will be looking for experienced horse riders, rodeo riders, campdrafters etc etc, who would like to learn from the best teachers how to joust in what could be the Worlds next biggest Professional Horse Sport.
